Above the Steel are a Blues and Roots duo from Performing with Lap steels, Acoustic Guitars, Bass, and Percussion to produce a variety of Stella sounds. The Duo have recently released a self titled, 7 track EP and are well positioned for their first feature length CD due to be released 2021.

The band although being able to comfortably play a lengthy original set also has multiple sets of covers. Entertaining patrons ranging in age, the duo are able to be placed in a Restaurant, Bar, Market place, Club or Beer Garden covering Folk, Blues, and recent singles from the 60’s to current tunes.

The duo also place emphasis on new technological advances in musical equipment allowing either musician to turn a folky acoustic instrument into a rock guitar sound giving emphasis to a diversity of control known as Above the Steel, an example of old meeting new.
